Adrian Hoppes

Ms. Hoppes is an attorney at Holden Law Group and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters.

Legal Experience

Ms. Hoppes represents employers and managers in state and federal litigation and in the defense of administrative complaints. Ms. Hoppes has a keen understanding of the employment relationship, and practical experience in handling matters involving harassment, retaliation and discrimination. She also has extensive experience in training and staff development.

Prior to joining Holden Law Group, Ms. Hoppes worked as an associate attorney for a plaintiff-side employment law firm. Familiarity with the opposing view allows her to fully understand the best way to prevent and to rebut any allegation which may arise for employers.

Ms. Hoppes spent over a decade with a Fortune 200 utility operation with a workforce of over 20,000. Ms. Hoppes fulfilled many roles in the Human Resource department with ever increasing responsibility for handling personnel matters ranging from wage/hour analysis, FMLA/ADA compliance,  EEO investigations, and disputes regarding contract negotiations with the labor unions. Ms. Hoppes’ practical experience, human resource background and legal training permit her to provide outstanding advice on the full gamut of any issue which may arise in the employment relationship.

Professional Activities and Interests

Ms. Hoppes is a member of the California Bar Association and the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Bar.  Ms. Hoppes is also a member of the Placer County Bar Association and regularly participates in activities hosted by the Sacramento Bar Association.  Ms. Hoppes is an intense athlete who is either running or in a gym six days a week.  When not working out, she prefers any outdoor activity she can do with her family including bike rides, hikes and walks.
