Katherine Piasente

Ms. Piasente is a human resources consultant at Holden Law Group and she consults employers in a broad range of employment matters.

Human Resource Experience

Ms. Piasente is certified through the Human Resources Certification Institute as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). She also obtained her Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional designation (SHRM – CP), and has over 8 years of experience in the HR field.  As the Vice President of Human Resources in her prior position, she provided consultation services to a family of companies on employee relations and labor law. Her wide range of experience includes performance management, policy design, training and development, employee relations, wellness program development, payroll and benefit administration, safety and compliance management, workers compensation and leave administration and more.

Her dedication and passion for assisting employers through the challenges of the employment relationship is evident in her work and approach with clients. Ms. Piasente considers herself a lifelong student and continues to make the expansion of her knowledge base in the HR field a welcomed priority.

Professional Activities and Interests

Ms. Piasente is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and participates regularly in activities hosted by the Sacramento Employers Advisory Council and the Sacramento Area Human Resource Association.  Ms. Piasente enjoys spending free time hiking on the trails or stand up paddle boarding on the lakes of the beautiful Sierra foothills. Ms. Piasente enjoys music and food festivals, and any adventure that involves spending time with her husband, son and her black lab.
