Melissa Johnson is the Executive Assistant to Steve Holden. She is also the Administrator of the Human Resource Consulting department.
Business and Organizational Experience
Ms. Johnson has a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked her way up from bartender to executive assistant and marketing director. Her work experiences, positions of increased responsibility and adaptive personal skills have led Ms. Johnson to become extremely well versed in the diverse aspects of managing a business and serving customers. Having the unique insight into what it takes to run a business in California provides Ms. Johnson with a level of awareness that permits her to better understand the needs of the firm’s clients.
She has experience in project management ranging from advertising design to multi-million dollar construction projects. She has also developed a keen understanding of modern technology. Ms. Johnson uses her experience and skill to serve as an advisor to members of the firm. She is also responsible for coordinating a broad range of projects related to planning, organization, client communication, marketing, graphic design and IT functions.
Activities and Interests
Melissa Johnson attended Sacramento City College where she played soccer and was the President of the Athletic Student Council. From there she transferred to Sacramento State University and studied there until the birth of her twins.
Melissa is an avid endurance runner that has completed four 100 mile races, including the Western States 100, and numerous other ultra-running events ranging from 100k to 50k. Melissa’s tenacious personality is what gets her to the finish line in life and in the tough endurance events she enjoys.
