Position Overview – The Role
You'll represent employers across a wide range of employment law matters, including:
- Defending employment lawsuits and administrative claims
- Drafting employment-related documents and policies
- Advising clients on proactive strategies to reduce liability
- Partnering with our HR consultants to provide guidance and support to clients
Ideal Candidate – Your Experience
You're an experienced employment law attorney who thrives on strategy, communicates clearly, and brings genuine care to every client interaction. Your experience may include:
- At least 3 years of experience handling California employment matters, including civil litigation
- Strong legal research skills, who thinks both strategically and analytically
- A knack for creative problem-solving
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and good common sense in everything you do

Details of this Opportunity
This is a full-time position based in Auburn, CA, though we're open to candidates residing anywhere in California. The role offers flexibility to work onsite, hybrid, or fully remote, with occasional onsite presence in Auburn expected approximately 4 to 6 times per year. A part-time schedule may be considered for the right candidate. Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $250,000, depending on your level of experience and the billable hours you choose to take on. For a full-time role, the reasonable expected pay range is $140,000 to $240,000.
