Administrative Professional

What You Will Do…

Attorney & HR Consultant Support:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and HR Professionals to enhance office and project effectiveness.
  • Maintain organization and accuracy of client documentation & billing system.
  • Provide legal administrative support as needed.
  • Draft, proofread, and file documents & correspondence – be a second pair of eyes to ensure product and service quality.
  • Coordinate and track client projects and deliverables ensuring both deadlines and expectations are met.
  • Make travel and meeting support arrangements for professionals.
  • Actively participate in special projects as assigned by Professionals.

Client Relations & Project Work:

  • Ensure a positive client experience while triaging telephone calls and email requests from clients, problem solving within your scope or escalating to our professionals who can best meet clients’ needs.
  • Develop and foster relationships with our clients in each interaction.
  • Partner with the Client Relations Director in projects that continually enhance our marketing efforts, client interactions, and offered services.
  • Partner with the Firm Manager in projects that continually enhance our office's organization and operations.

Employment Attorney

Specifically, we are looking for an Attorney that can bring their California employment law experience to complement our existing client services. Important qualities of our next Employment Attorney include:

  • Sufficient employment law and civil litigation experience representing businesses that allows them to manage litigation independently and provide clients with advice & guidance on handling employment issues.
  • Ability to successfully interact with and inspire confidence in clients. We love proactive leaders with superior organizational and problem-solving skills. We expect our attorneys to be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical and writing skills.

Human Resource Consultant

We are looking to add an exceptional Human Resources Professional to our thriving team at Holden Law Group!

Who we need:

Specifically, we are looking for professionals who can bring their extensive HR experience and knowledge to our existing client services. This role will also be the dedicated leader for our firm’s own talent acquisition efforts. Our ideal candidate for this role possesses the following qualities:

  • Extensive experience as a HR Generalist, HR Manager, or HR Consultant + possess one of the following current certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR-CA, SHRM-SCP or SPHR-CA.
  • A degree in HR Management, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience and interest in HR legal compliance, policy development, employee relations, and recruitment.
  • The ability to successfully interact with and inspire confidence in all client and candidate interactions.
  • A proactive leader with superior organizational and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and writing skills as well as a strong aptitude for learning and high degree of accountability.
  • Commitment to live and uphold the Holden Law Group mission, values, and purpose.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not a requirement.

What you will do:

HR Consultation:

  • Offer valuable all-around HR consulting that businesses need to run a happy, healthy team.
  • Provide direct consultation to businesses and non-profit organizations throughout Northern California by delivering a variety of services, including guidance on employee relations and legal compliance, employee training programs and assistance with policy development.
  • Strategize and partner with our employment attorneys to provide phenomenal, comprehensive service to our clients. Assignments will require work in-office (Auburn), onsite with clients, and remote work.

Leading Recruitment Efforts for Our Firm:

  • Lead talent acquisition efforts through creation of attractive job postings, screen applications, conduct phone screens, coordinate subsequent interviews, and compete reference checks.
  • Lead the sourcing of passive attorney candidates.
  • Be the dedicated candidate liaison.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date recruitment & candidate documentation in our applicant tracking system.
  • Find continual growth opportunities for our sourcing and recruitment program + take ownership and initiative to then make it a reality.
