Celebrate Employers!

Yeah, a holiday weekend! Unfortunately, most Americans likely never even stop consider the purpose of the holiday. They may know it is “Labor Day” but not what that really means. According to most sources, it was the brainchild of the labor movement in the 19^th century and designed to strengthen the movement by celebrating the contributions and achievements of the American worker.

It is a fabulous idea to celebrate the contributions and achievements of American workers. In fact, I hope we celebrate enough to educate American youth that hard work and a drive for improvement are the keys to success for the great majority of us. I also hope that we celebrate employers right along with the employees. There are no American workers without employers. There is no economic prosperity without employers.
