Likely Shift on National Labor Relations Board
On April 11th the United States Senate confirmed John Ring for a seat on the National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Ring was nominated by President Trump in January and was approved in a 50-48 vote along party lines to a position that has become increasingly political. He was an employer-side attorney with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP. Because he is the third Republican now on the five-member panel, it is likely that the Board’s policies and decisions will shift back somewhat in favor of employers. I personally think that is a good thing for our country.
